Shawntay Harris has over 22 years of experience in Emergency and Trauma Services. She is recognized as an expert in both specialties and a highly sought-after Legal Nurse Consultant. She is a results-driven Chief Executive Officer with 29 years of experience working for nonprofit organizations. Shawntay has managed multiple lines of service, increasing growth and revenue in a multi-million dollar corporation.
She is currently on the Board of the Emergency Nurses Association Foundation. She is the Treasurer for the Texas State Council of the Emergency Nurses Association and the Board liaison to the Quality, Safety, and Injury Prevention and Fundraising committees. Shawntay serves a Course Administration Faculty for the Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course and the Trauma Nursing Core Course.
Shawntay attends Post University’s Doctoral program in Executive Leadership.

The story of Eminent CPR starts in an advanced degree classroom in 2006 as a capstone project for the Masters in Business Administration program, but it did not end there. Eminent CPR has evolved as a highly recommended training center that educates people on the importance of knowing CPR, First Aid, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Basic Life Support, the Emergency Nurses Pediatric Course, and the Trauma Nursing Core Course.
Eminent CPR is an authorized American Heart Association Training Center. Classes have limited seats as per the AHA guidelines. Eminent CPR teaches the CURRENT AHA and Emergency Cardiovascular Care required modules and skills training to make each student successful in their clinical practice area.
Eminent Leadership Institute Training Executives is a continuing education provider for LEADERSHIP board certification review courses.
Shawntay is the author of the book series: Nurse Executive Review Course Pocket Pearls.

Of course, there have been challenges (a GLOBAL PANDEMIC). Eminent CPR offers Emergency Nurses Association courses live via Zoom. The American Heart Association courses are offered live at the Killeen, Texas, location. The Nurse Executive review courses are delivered live via Zoom. At this point, we certify approximately 10,000 students per year.

Our instructors have years of real-life experience performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation and first aid. That’s why we offer better quality educational training. Our course catalog has expanded beyond CPR to include INSTRUCTOR COURSES for all provider courses offered through Eminent CPR. The brand has expanded to include continuing education courses for nurse leaders.
